Sleep is an often underrated part of our daily life! Sleep is an almost magical time where the body has a chance to repair, heal and rest ready for the next busy day.
Good quality sleep has a real effect on our health – people are recommended to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep each night, but many of us fail to do so, mainly through having such busy and stressful lives! The key to getting a good night’s sleep is to have a comfortable bed, with a warm (but not hot) duvet, darkness and supportive pillows.
Sleep is a time for our body to rest and repair. Our organs have a good clean, and all our cells renew themselves. Not having enough sleep means your body does not get a good chance to recover itself, and your immune system can take a battering.
